Just 50 weeks after becoming a grandma for the first time, Candace Cameron Bure is celebrating another new arrival.
And people can’t stop talking about the baby’s name — with some calling it the “best” name ever.
Baby’s rare name and gender
Candace Cameron Bure, 50, is officially a grandmother for the second time.
In August, the actress officially entered her grandma era — and the milestone came with an emotional surprise. The 50-year-old Full House and Fuller House star became a first-time grandmother after her son, Lev Bure, 26, and his wife, Elliott Bure, welcomed their first child, a baby boy named Bond Leo Bure.

Bond was born on August 4, 2026, arriving 10 weeks prematurely and weighing just three pounds. His early arrival led to a frightening start for the new family, as he was immediately transferred to the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
After five weeks and five days in the hospital, Lev and Elliott were finally able to bring their “miracle boy” home.
“Dreams really do come true”
In October, Candace became a grandma for the second time when her daughter, Natasha Bure Perry, and her husband, Bradley Steven Perry, welcomed a baby girl named Winnie Helaine.
The couple shared their happy news in October, revealing that their little girl had already brought more love and joy into their lives than they could have imagined.
“Dreams really do come true 💗,” Candace wrote as she celebrated her granddaughter’s arrival on Instagram.

The proud grandmother also shared sweet Polaroid photos of herself with Winnie and the new parents.
“We love you so much Winnie sweet pea. You are so loved. CandyGram and Deda are here for every moment 🍭,” she added, referring to the special names she and her husband, Val Bure, use as grandparents.
Sweet family connection
The announcement quickly drew an outpouring of love from fans, many of whom couldn’t get enough of the little girl’s name.
“Oh my heart!! 💕💕 And of course I adore the name Winnie…!! 💕💕💕” one person wrote.
Another gushed, “I hope I look as young, vibrant & beautiful as you when I become a grandma!🤍🤍🤍”
“Winnie is just perfect. 🙌🏼Congratulations Candy Gram! 🩷🌸🙏😇” another fan commented, while someone else described the name as “Classic and unique. Shining light 🥹💕”
One commenter also pointed out the sweet family connection, writing, “Congratulations! Double the love, double the joy, double the blessings… and double the diaper duty😂. So precious that your middle name (Helaine) is being carried down!”
CandyGram in full effect
For Candace, becoming a grandmother is a milestone she had been looking forward to for years. When her daughter announced her pregnancy in May 2026, the actress was quick to celebrate, joking, “CandyGram in full effect.”
She had even chosen her grandmother nickname long before either baby arrived. Candace wanted to be called “CandyGram,” a playful blend of her nickname, Candy, and the word grandma. Her children weren’t entirely sold on the idea at first, but she seemed to have made up her mind.
Candace had previously admitted that she hoped to become a grandmother before turning 50. In the end, reaching the milestone in the same year she turned 50 felt, as she put it, “perfect.”
“My husband and I have been eagerly waiting for this day since two of our kids got married,” she told AARP in an interview published before Bond’s arrival.
Now, with both Lev and Natasha becoming parents within a matter of weeks, the Bure family has entered an exciting new chapter — and Candace is embracing every moment of grandmotherhood.
From Bond Leo to Winnie Helaine, the family’s newest generation has already brought plenty of joy — and two distinctive names that fans won’t soon forget.
Congratulations to the whole family on their beautiful new addition!
